This or that: palm print
If there’s one trend that’s taken the summer by storm, it’s palm prints. We see them everywhere! From interior design to accessories and clothes, palm prints bring easy style to any room or outfit. We love seeing how bloggers style their blog prints, and we noticed that our own founders each had their own way of rocking the trend. Megan wore the tropical print in a fun and playful romper – perfect for a west coast summer day, while Lauren dressed hers up a bit and chose funky colors. It seems like there is no way to mess up a palm print! Check out the way Emily and Jennifer styled their palm dresses!
Which way would you style a palm print outfit?

And just like that, it’s July! Happy early 4th weekend!
It seems like only a few weeks ago we were writing about our top trends for 2015…where did the past few months go? It’s blazing hot in Atlanta, and we’re putting our summer whites, sundresses, crop tops, and cut off shorts to good use. We’re also getting tons of style inspiration from our favorite bloggers – check out some below!
Need Shelby’s neon geometric maxi dress like…yesterday.
Technically she posted this last week, but Alicia looks adorable in this fun blouse + high waisted shorts look! We couldn’t not share.
That cut, that print, that color! Mae of Mae Amor‘s mini is perfect for a fun date night!
The best casual 4th of July outfit from Anna, with a classic gingham button down, cut offs, and studded red flats to add a little edge. #America
We have no words for this dress. It’s too perfect. Thank you to Jennifer for blessing us with your outfit.
On that super stylish note, have a fun and safe 4th of July, everyone!

This or that: summer whites
Since Memorial Day has officially come and gone, that can only mean one thing – bright white is dominating our outfits! Though there are plenty of us who don’t listen to that old “white after Memorial Day” rule, crisp and clean whites seem very quintessentially summer. Wearing white, especially in the form of an #LWD or an ethereal maxi dress, feels warm and laid back, like summers are totally meant to be. Feeling a little more casual? There is nothing better than a crisp white tee, printed shorts, and staple sandals!
Both of our boss girls at Adorn wore white recently to amp up their dress games, and we love both looks. Lauren looks so white hot in her LWD, while Megan went all goddess on us in her chiffon maxi, flowing, wavy hair and all. Both outfits equally gorgeous, obviously.
Which look are you drawn to? Are you feeling a bit more daring with the rising temps, or more cool and laid back? Let us know in the comments!

Happy Friday, ladies! And better yet, happy Memorial Day Weekend! We’re so excited to kick off our (mini) vacations with sun, drinks, yummy food, and friends. Since this weekend signals the start of summer, we couldn’t think of anything better than to highlight our favorite hot weather looks, as styled by our favorite bloggers, of course! Time to break out your cut offs, sun screen, and sandals!
White on white
Since technically the rule is to not wear white until Memorial Day Weekend, what better way to celebrate than to go all white? We love this look on Jessica from Prosecco & Plaid, since her lace top looks perfect for even the hottest day. It is a bit daring to wear all white, but why not rock it?
Tried and true white and blue
Remember how we said earlier this year that the white and blue combo would be so popular this year? This look from Emily of Life With Emily is perfect for a casual brunch or picnic by the water, especially if you want to protect your skin. Throw on a pair of Converses and you’re ready for any adventure!
Poolside florals
Our friend Jessica from My Style Vita elevated her pool style with this gorgeous coverup that is one part cute and one part super sophisticated. Toss out your big t-shirt in exchange for a fun and stylish dress to pair with your suit. Even better, color coordinate like Jessica did!
Bold and bright
If summer were an outfit, this would be it. Shanna chose stand out pants to pair with her chambray top and panama hat, and we couldn’t love her look more! Summer is the time to go for bold prints and bright colors, so why not do both? Style tip: if you choose to wear a piece that is daring in both color and print, leave a couple of other pieces and accessories neutral for balance!
Simple, boho, and anything but basic
For places where climates aren’t spiking toward triple digits just yet, this dress and booties combination is perfect. We love the casual silhouette of the dress, especially since it also has a fun pattern! Natalie from Thoughts By Natalie knows how to take a dress up a notch, since those boots and her fringe bag add to its boho vibe.

Must-have summer 2015 sandals
In the summer, the only shoes you’ll catch the Adorn ladies wearing are chic and comfortable sandals. Have you ever been to Atlanta? They don’t call it Hotlanta for nothing! Lucky for us, flip flops aren’t the only option to stay super stylish and cool. We’ve become a bit obsessed with a few recent sandal trends, like gladiator studded sandals, double strap sandals, and metallic minimal sandals. How cute are all of these options?
These Rebecca Minkoff sandals would pair perfectly with a cute skirt and tank for a casual night out, or even with a swingy dress. We love the color combo (and price tag!) of these Chinese Laundry sandals, but our favorites might be these scalloped (!!!) metallic Loeffler Randall sandals! The best part? They go with e v e r y t h i n g! We would love to style them with some relaxed cut offs or a bright printed pair of shorts. All of these styles are super versatile, so you can’t go wrong!
What sandals are you rocking this summer?

Kristyn Alysse of Primp & Proper gave us some great interview attire inspiration! If you work in a conservative office but feel the urge to be creative with you look, Kristyn’s idea is perfect!
Utility jackets are almost like blank canvases to build your style on, which is why we love how Jackie from Living After Midnight styled hers! Her pink floral scarf and pink bag make the look a nice mix of masculine and feminine.
We love how Shannon from Upbeat Soles styled her gingham pencil skirt two ways so much, that we couldn’t choose a favorite! Since a pencil skirt is so versatile, you can take it from boho to conservative super easily.
Don’t shun black and white when spring comes around! Katie’s boho outfit looks so cute and so comfortable. Hop over to her blog Pearls and Twirls to see more photos of how she styled the look!

This or that: swim coverup
With Megan’s west coast travels and Lauren’s Cancun vacation on our minds, can you be surprised we’re a little summer beach obsessed lately?! Instead of keeping inside from the oncoming sweltering heat, we’re trying to find more ways to hit the coast (or the pool) in our favorite swimsuits! But to avoid the sun’s harsh rays (or let’s be honest – for evenings we want to have that extra margarita in peace) it’s always smart to bring a cute coverup. There are tons of styles, but which do you like best? Megan wore this strappy royal blue coverup in California, while Lauren donned her chambray tunic in Mexico. Sure, Lauren’s provides a bit more coverage from the sun, but Megan’s looks adorable and girly! Both are winners in our book.
What about you? What is your go-to swim coverup? We love this coverup, this one, and this style too!

Give. us. dem. heels. Tilden! In the words of Tyra Banks – fierce!
How much more sunny and feminine can you get? We love this blue and white stripes + lace look from Kelsey of Ladies in Navy!
Maxi season is here, ladies! What better way to kick off the season than with a bold, watercolor patterned dress? Check out the rest of Stephanie’s photos to see more of her fab maxi!
Leave it to Katie of Pearls and Twirls to make us oggle over a simple button down and cut off shorts. We love the pale green and bright coral color combination!

- Kate Spade has answered our calls for vintage and girly swimwear by launching their own line this season! Put on this gorgeous bow bandeau bikini and you might be sent back to the beach in the 1950’s. It’s so pretty we almost don’t want to get it wet!
- J Crew is a tried and true staple for cute suits at super affordable costs. We love mixing and matching different styles within the same color palette to add a little interest. Also, the french-style bikini tops are so comfortable and chic, don’t you think?
